About us
My passion for babywearing began even before the birth of our first child. I clearly remember seeing a woman wearing her child in a wrap and although I had never seen anything like it before or given any thought to babywearing, I was struck by the ‘rightness’ of it. Something inside me was instinctively drawn - aesthetically, practically and emotionally - to this wonderfully simple act of parent and child drawn together so closely.
After the birth of our daughter this powerful experience naturally led to an interest in babywearing and the search for the most comfortable, useful and beautiful carriers.
As a family we have used many carriers. For my partner, babywearing allowed the freedom to get out and introduce our children to the outdoors and has provided some of the closest moments between he and both our daughter and son. For me, carrying my children has become an indispensable part of everyday life.
My passion for babywearing has more recently developed into Frangipani Baby™, my home based business. Through Frangipani Baby™ I aim to offer a range of quality, stylish carriers which allow babywearing to be embraced as a fun and functional part of our modern lives.
